(I waited to post this until after they had completed the basement and it had rained again, just so i could prove it worked!) when dan came in we had a mess. Underground springs, essentially a lake of water under our house. Every time it even misted our basement got water, let alone a heavy rain where I had like a 1/2 inch to an inch of water coming in. Not only was the quote much better than the larger companies, they did not talk down to me or use scare tactics. When Dan came in he explained exactly what would be done and how it would work. The work was finished efficiently and they did an amazing clean up! Our basement has been dry since..despite MANY heavy rains and with our underground springs. We are amazed at the difference! The crew was extremely professional and finished the work earlier than expected!

Dan and Mike were professional and courteous while installing the waterproofing in our basement. They helped us understand our new system and plan the best pump placement. They left a clean site when finished; answering any questions I had. Very satisfied with our service!

I just had my basement waterproofed and I just wanted to let everyone know what a great job they did. Dan, the foreman, was very informative and kept me updated on everything as things progressed. He had two helpers, Jesse and Nakita, who worked their butts off and I hardly ever saw them even rest. It’s a very physical job running buckets of debris and concrete up and down the steps over 100 times. They started on Monday and were done Wednesday but came back Thursday to put my shelving back up and move the large items back where they were and they cleaned up everything. I can’t say enough about their work. They did a great job. John Dougherty is the gentleman who came out and did the estimate and he was very good as well. I had another estimate from another company and they won my bid because I felt they were more truthful and a better price. I would highly recommend this company.

We had all 2,000 sq ft of our basement block sealed and could not be happier. John communicated diligently with us while we worked back and forth with home sellers in the middle of purchasing our home. We actually were also able to cancel another drain installation because of how well their product worked! They even refunded us our deposit. We recommend this company 100%.

American Waterpoofers Inc provided excellent customer service at the most reasonable price. I wanted to wait before I wrote a review of the service. I wanted to wait for a torrential downpour. American Waterproofers completed a basement waterproofing project at my residence. The project was recently put to the test with the onset of severe storms and a weather system that dropped 2 inches of rain in about 2 hours. Here is a text that I sent to Dan the crew leader of my waterproofing project the following morning:
Hey Dan, this is Kelly Campagna. You guys completed a project at my place in Mifflintown about a month ago. With last nights heavy rains my basement would have taken on some serious water. Went down to the basement this morning and there was not a drop of water!!

After flooding for the second time in September of 2021 because of Ida dumping 6″ of rain on us, we decided on getting our basement waterproofed and I am SO glad I did. This past weekend (5/6-5/7) and our sump pump started kicking over after the ground was saturated. We peaked at about it running every 5 minutes but it kept us dry! After flooding twice I was anxious the system wouldn’t work but it really did! Money well spent and it was priced appropriately unlike some of the other price gougers out there. Well done! I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone.

I highly recommend American Waterproofers Inc to anyone who has water issues in their basement. Dan and his crew were extremely hardworking and professional. We had an interior drain installed around the entire perimeter of our basement. In 3 days, the guys had the job completed, and hauled out/in an estimated 10 tons of material! We have had several soaking rains since the work has been completed and the system has performed exactly as promised, and we no longer have to worry about a drop of water in our basement.

They truly went above and beyond. We had an urgent job needed to refinance and they were able to come out on a Friday for a quote and start work the next Wednesday and done on Thursday. Everything was as advertised – great price and a no pressure company. From my initial contact with Jim, the owner to John, the gentleman who came to my home and explained the process and how the system works to Dan, the crew chief and his team who installed the system – total professionalism! Dan and his team arrived arrived promptly, worked extremely hard and completed the job in one day. Everything was cleaned up and all the trash was removed. I can only imagine what my basement would have looked like if the system hadn’t been installed prior to the 7” of rain received from Hurricane Ida. AW installed a submerged sump pump and after 2 years it appeared to not be working. Little did I know, that it was working and very well in fact. It wasn’t making noise because it had done it’s job with keeping up. Anyway, Dan came out on a service call to check that it was still working and gave me ways to check if it wasn’t. They were prompt in responding and came to check it in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company! They were good to us during the install and with the service call today
